I want to give this place more stars but I cannot possibly give them more than that. Ever since the Chinese Restaurant moved into their grand ballroom, there isn't any parking for the hotel customers in the area right outside the hotel. The hotel itself is pretty nice and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is friendly but if you want to consistently fight people who are at the restaurant for spaces marked Hilton Honors or Diamond, this is the hotel for you. They keep saying that there is underground parking. This is correct, however, it is connected to the shopping center next door and as a female, I did not feel safe parking down there and walking up to the elevators alone. I don't know why Hilton allows people to park in spots for hotel guests so they can go to the restaurant. Hotel guest pay $10 a night to park but the people at the restaurant don't have to pay a penny to park in the reserved spots for Hilton members. If you leave on the weekends and come back, good luck getting a parking spot. The restaurant is so busy that the lot is full. I paid to stay at a hotel, but got a busy restaurant instead. This is my third time staying here, each time for about 2 weeks. This will be the last time if the restaurant stays (they claim they will move when the renovation is done, but apparently, some staff says they are much more busy here and may stay). Restaurant patrons should be forced to go to the underground parking while hotel guest should be allowed spaces right outside the hotel.

Very good accommodations and close proximity to great food. Hotel was great with wonderful breakfast selection with Asian twist …they also have a nice restaurant there in dining room but no time to try !

Great location and food options nearby, but security needs improvementThe location was one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is close to Chinatown and surrounded by many Chinese restaurants, bubble tea shops, and Asian food options. There were plenty of dining choices within walking distance, including a Sichuan-style fish restaurant, which made meals very convenient.The room itself was comfortable, and the staff we interacted with were friendly. However, we noticed a security issue that should be addressed.Anyone can take the elevator to the second floor, where the guest rooms are located. Access to the guest room corridor is supposed to require a key card, but during our stay the access door was not functioning properly. Even without using a key card, the door could simply be pushed open, making the access control system ineffective. This meant that anyone who reached the second floor could potentially enter the guest room area. While nothing happened during our stay, it did make us feel less secure than expected.We also noticed small red marks on one of the towels provided in the room. We could not determine whether it was a stain, discoloration, or something else, but it was noticeable enough that we chose not to use that towel.Overall, the location and nearby food options were excellent, but the security concern was disappointing and should be addressed as a priority. Security is an important factor when choosing accommodation, and I hope the hotel will inspect and repair the access door promptly.

I stayed at the Hilton Los Angeles/San Gabriel for 4 nights over the Fourth of July weekend and had a great experience. The hotel was conveniently located for everything we had planned, including Dodger Stadium, SoFi Stadium, and the Los Angeles Convention Center. Check-in was quick and easy, and parking was available for just $10 per day. The parking lot did get pretty busy over the holiday weekend, but we never had much trouble finding a spot. Our room and bathroom were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and we had no complaints during our stay. Although we didn't use the outdoor pool, we had a nice view of it from our room. The fitness center was on the smaller side but had everything needed. We had the hotel breakfast. The pork chop with instant noodles was delicious and reasonably priced. The gift shop was convenient for grabbing drinks and snacks before heading out for the day, and we stopped by Jason's Lounge for drinks in the evening. Ricky, the bartender, was energetic and friendly. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return the next time I'm in the area. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles.

What an exciting way to start the morning At around 6:00 AM on 6/11/26, the entire hotel appeared to lose power. No electricity, no AC, pitch black hallways, non working elevators, a dead room phone, and calls to the hotel from my cell phone went unanswered. Power outages happen, but the complete lack of communication was the real highlight. No updates, no instructions, just guests sitting in dark rooms wondering what was going on and whether it was even safe to leave. Nothing quite says “hospitality” like being trapped in a hot, dark room and zero information. The blackout aside, the property is noticeably run down. Dirty carpets, stains on the wallpaper, blankets, lamps, and walls, with some spots looking suspiciously mold adjacent. The accessibility double rooms are a bit more spacious than the standard rooms, but the shower curtain doesn’t reach the floor, so water escapes easily and turns the bathroom into an extension of the shower. To be fair, check in was quick and friendly, room service was efficient, hot water worked well, and the location is convenient with direct access to the Asian plaza. Parking is $10/night, rollaway beds are $25/night, and while there are EV chargers in the garage, there are no Tesla chargers. There’s a Tesla Supercharger across the street near 99 Ranch.

The hotel has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it currently feels quite worn down. The building itself looks somewhat run-down and could really benefit from a proper renovation. You can tell that it hasn’t been updated in a while. That being said, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, which definitely improves the overall experience. They are helpful and make an effort to ensure guests feel comfortable. The hotel is located right in the heart of „Chinatown“, which is convenient and adds a unique atmosphere to the stay. The location is relatively good, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. Speaking of the restaurant, it’s decent—nothing particularly outstanding, but acceptable if you don’t feel like going out. Overall, the hotel is okay for a short stay, especially because of its location and friendly staff, but it would greatly benefit from renovations to improve comfort and appearance.

Spacious rooms and rather quiet. The breakfast was good and the service from Galinda was excellent. We will stay here again for the great customer service. Don’t expect any nice views since housing is all around.

We booked this hotel in Alhambra, California on short notice and were pleased with our stay. The location is great, with many restaurants within walking distance. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. There are some additional costs to consider, such as parking and breakfast, which are not included in the initial room price. The bed was comfortable, the towels were bright white and soft, and the room was spacious. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would consider staying here again.
